Altar Servers

Altar Servers – service on the altar during liturgical and Sacramental celebrations
- youth, male and female, in grades 5 and up through high school receive initial training sessions held annually
- committed to serving on a scheduled basis

Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist

Extraordinary Ministers of the Most Holy Eucharist –distribute the Eucharist at liturgies, special services, communion at nursing homes and home-bound
- high school and older attend an initial training session (1 hour) and then a once or twice a year group meeting (1 hour)
- be committed to ministering at your selected Mass when scheduled - ministering at other times is voluntary

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God inspirationally at Mass, make announcements, introduce the Mass
- high school and older attend an initial training session (1 hour) and then a once or twice a year group meeting (1 hour)
- committed to ministering at your selected Mass when scheduled – reading at other times is voluntary

Ushers

Ushers help people find seats at Mass, take up collection, direct flow of people during communion, distribute bulletins
- anyone already fully initiated into the Church desiring to usher will receive on-the-job-training
- concerned about good order, comfort and safety of those at Mass and committed to ushering on a scheduled basis

Mass Coordinators

Mass Coordinators attend to logistical details of the Mass such as altar and church preparation, presence of the liturgical team
- fully initiated, mature 16 year old or older willing to attend to the altar and the liturgical team on a frequent basis
- committed to coordinating at your selected Mass weekly

Purificator Ministry

Purificator Ministry cleans and maintains purificators and altar cloths
- any parishioner dedicated to the collecting and cleaning of used purificators, towels and altar cloths
- collect used purificators, altar cloths and towels on your assigned date two or three times a year

Candle Ministry

Candle Ministry cleans and replaces the candles in the votive candle stands in the church and Blessed Sacrament Chapel
- any parishioner dedicated to maintaining the votive candle stands
- periodically cover a two week time span whose frequency is determined by the number of candle

Decoration Ministry

Interior Environment Committee makes vestments & banners, create decor appropriate to liturgical seasons
- anyone with sewing skills or an eye for decorating following liturgical standards
- meets Mondays from 9:30AM to 12 Noon – also known as the “Sewing Guild” and the “Arts & Environment Ministry”
